Central Oregon Volunteer & Internship Opportunities
Volunteering and internships are excellent ways to gain skills, explore career fields, build your career network and resume, and get your foot in the door.
Volunteer opportunities are unpaid and tend to be more informal and short term. Volunteers donate their time to serve an organization in exchange for gaining some skills and experience in a career field or organization.
Internships are more formal and long term work experiences that provide interns with supervision, mentorship, and structured skill development. Internship may be paid or unpaid. They are an excellent way to build skills, engage in career exploration, and build professional connections.
Youth Career Connect
Youth Career Connect offers primarily paid internships to Central Oregon’s young people. (aged 16 to 21 years). Youth have an opportunity to explore career options, develop work ethic, network with professionals, and hone their job skills ahead of post-secondary education or employment.
